I belong to the to the Antikirinya/Wirangu peoples on my mother and fathers side, I was born in Port Augusta in 2002 and spent my growing up years in Ceduna on the west coast of South Australia. My great Grandmother Millie Taylor (nee Lennon “Deceased) and mother Kelly Taylor are the inspiration behind all of the amazing paintings and stories that I create.
My great-great-grandmother is half Antikirinya and half Arrernte. I have many accomplishments as a young artist with an award as Highly Commended I received during the Our Young Mob exhibition. Featured on the notable Vogue Living, Collaborations with Royal Flying doctors & Disney Australia, articles with SBS NITV, ABC Eyre Peninsula, National Indigenous Times & Homes to Love Australia. I picked up the paintbrush when I was just 15 years old and fell in love with it, today I continue to learn from my mum Kelly Taylor how to create a painting using different stories, designs, techniques, style and how to blend colours to create my own paintings that shows my family and great grandmothers’ journey across country hunting and gathering traditional foods to survive off the land.
My style of dot artwork is spread out over the canvas in multiple colours to give my paintings an eye-catching effect that makes my artworks exquisite, culturally significant, and breath-taking.
