Mariam was incredible from start to finish! I couldn't have asked for a better artist to create this project with me. I wanted to create a montage of my partner's favourite places from her hometown so I could give it as a gift when she left that hometown to move in with me. Mariam was wonderfully consultative throughout the process. She took the time to understand what it was that I wanted, then used her expertise to advise on details like material, base, size and position of each image and overall layout. She set out the process from first draft to final piece really clearly, so that I could see at each stage what the work was turning into and give feedback. Mariam was very responsive, focusing on my ideas and vision and using her skill to bring that to life more beautifully than I could have imagined! What really set Mariam apart though, was the clear personal interest she took in the piece, which made working with her really special. The painting turned out fantastically and I couldn't recommend Mariam more!
