About
Hi there, my name is Cooper. I’m a figurative painter and my mission is to share my vision of a world full of diverse people and highlight moments of connection in order to help and inspire as many people as I can. I paint people from all walks of life in an exaggerated cartoon style to emphasize gestures of love and care. My life’s purpose is to use my artistic skills to help other people. Some things to know about me: I live with RP, a rare eye disease that will eventually take my vision so there is no time like the present when it comes to my painting practice. I donate 10% of all paint sales to the Alameda County Community Food Bank. I have worked in education as a teacher, with school groups at the de Young museum, tackled indoor and outdoor murals, and of course am a trained studio artist. I’m always looking for new skills and challenges to expand my skill set. Thank you for your time, I look forward to working with you ??
