My name is Jayda and I am a multi-disciplined artist, illustrator and muralist based in Sydney. I am inspired by the patterns of mundane life, nature and urban textures . My style can be described as edgy and modern. I am most drawn to creating patterns with geometric shapes, line work and striking minimalistic florals. I love working with a limited palette of monochromatic black and white to really bring out the detail of my patterns. I mainly use brush work to deliver a bold and striking pattern for walls big and small. With over 15 years of experience as a Graphic designer, transitioning into illustration and mural work felt like the natural next step for me. I would love to work on more large scale outdoor spaces where my art can be enjoyed by everyone.
