About
My name is Courtney and I am a 27 year old female artist. I have been working as a muralist for three years and have painted large walls, sheds, garage doors and canvases for clients. I am interested in street art that has a positive influence on youth in the community; artwork that inspires the younger generation to explore their own creativity. I have painted graffiti in many places around the world; travelling has inspired and motivated my artistic expression. A lot of my artwork is character and cartoon based with expressive, vivid and inviting colours. I work as a Scenic Painter for Film and Television and I have learned many techniques and increased my artistic abilities through my work. I am skilled using latex, aerosol, oil and acrylic and can paint realism, cartoon, anime, nature and abstract expressionism. I am self taught and have not taken any formal visual art courses.
