About
Hayley Roussel is a contemporary artist living and working in New Orleans area. A gifted painter, and published poet, Hayley graduated with a BFA from LSU. She has experimented with many different mediums and techniques, and is currently creating whimsical, acrylic paintings. Dynamic and vibrant, her most current series focuses on the architecture, plant life, exaggerated colors, porches, gardens, and courtyards of New Orleans. Featuring everything from shotgun houses to cemeteries, this series truly captures the spirit and soul of the city and its people.
