I commissioned Candis to create her portrait of my wife and me as, as a birthday present for my wife. Candis kindly agreed to let us sit for the portrait in person. We found her to be so friendly and welcoming and it was a unique experience of art being created as we all talked in an open and relaxed way. We are very happy with the portait Candis created which captures our character as well as Candis' impression of us, just as good art should. We found the whole process of dealing with Candis on our commission to be a pleasure.

Welcome to my page! I’m an artist/illustrator with a dreamy/fantastical artstyle. I work in mostly digital mediums but I’m also skilled in graphite/pencil work and acrylic/gouache paintings. My main areas of expertise is portraiture, design (tattoos for example) and character art. I started seriously trying to improve my art when I was 12 but I’ve been a creative person all my life. I understood the world through my art and a child and throughout my teenage years used it as both an outlet and a comfort. One of my biggest aims with art is to communicate or elicit an emotion whether that be happiness and comfort, sadness and grief, or awe and wonder.
