We are beyond grateful to Brian for capturing our wedding day so beautifully! About
Hey there! I'm Brian Ochieng Onyango, the eye behind the lens at tam photography ke. Based in the coastal paradise of Diani, Kenya, I specialize in candid, minimal, and emotion-filled photography that captures not just moments—but the feeling of those moments. My journey into professional photography began in 2021, sparked by a deep love for storytelling and a curiosity about how light, nature, and people interact. What inspires me most is the beauty of everyday life: the quiet glance between newlyweds, the golden glow of the ocean at sunset, or the raw textures of a fisherman's hands. I’m constantly chasing those honest, unscripted scenes that say more than words ever could. Over the years, my work has grown to include documentary, lifestyle, events, and real estate photography. I've had the honor of being recognized by organizations like KMFRI, AU-IBAR, and Youth Biodiversity, and participated in photo residencies and exhibitions such as Foto Mtaani. Whether I’m capturing the pulse of the ocean or the energy of a worship night, my goal is always the same: to make images that move people. I’m skilled in both Lightroom and Photoshop, and I believe in clean, detail-driven edits that stay true to the soul of the photo. I’m also big on collaborating with other creatives, always looking to learn and push boundaries. Creating isn't just what I do—it’s who I am. Every shoot is a chance to freeze time and tell a story. And that, to me, is magic.

I’m not the best fit for heavily staged or overly posed shoots with little creative flexibility. I also tend to avoid work that lacks a clear vision or direction. I thrive in environments where creativity,   collaboration,   and storytelling are valued—so if it’s just about ticking a box,   I might not be your guy.
