John is a Chicago-based artist known for his mixed-media approach, creating bold and thought-provoking works. Specializing in both studio paintings, large-scale murals and scenic art installations his art injects vibrancy into urban spaces while pushing the boundaries of visual expression. Beyond traditional mediums, Wilson’s work spans art, theater, festivals, and education, earning him numerous accolades. With over 20 years of experience as a teaching artist in Chicago Public Schools, he has inspired students of all ages. Recently, he was a featured artist in The Art of Banksy exhibit in Chicago, where he showcased twelve paintings alongside Banksy. His murals, paintings, and installations can be found in buildings across the Chicagoland area.
