I am a visual artist and co-director of Dornoch Street Studios in Bridgeton, Glasgow. Since graduating from Painting and Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art, my practice has taken an interdisciplinary route spanning across printmaking, illustration, photography and mural painting. I'm particularly inspired by film and photography and use this as a starting print to create works which explore the materiality of the graphic image in contrast with the gestural painting mark. Most recently I have specialised in mono-printing using this technique to create a series of line-work based illustrations which are also transferable to t-shirts. I'm passionate about making art accessible for all and focus on projects which transcend the elitist art world through community engagement, workshops and public art.
