Hi there! I'm a South African artist, specialising in portraits of both humans and pets. No one commissions a portrait of someone they don’t care for deeply, so I take this responsibility seriously. I strive, not just for an accurate likeness, but to capture the unique expression, personality and beauty of each face. To make them shine, the way they do in you heart. The Process: • I work from good quality digital photos which can be Whatsapped or emailed to me. • The clearer, more close-up and higher resolution the photo, the better the portrait will be! If possible, please send several photos so we can consult on which is best. The more photos the better. • I usually have a waiting list, to which you'll be added once we've provisionally decided on a photo, subject to a 10% deposit. I will do my best to accommodate any deadline you may have. • Once completed, I'll send you a photo of the portrait so you can advise me of any changes or corrections. • Payment is due upon your approval of the portrait photo, prior to release of the original. • I reserve the right to display the finished portrait on my facebook page. The source photo will not be displayed without your express permission. No names or identifying information will ever be posted I am also available for small illustrations of anything, in pencil, pen, or full colour.

I can draw or paint anything and love to draw and paint. I welcome all commissions. But my first love is faces. Any faces, old, young, animal, human, black, white or brown. Every face becomes beautiful to me as I'm working on it.

I'll sit these ones out :-

I prefer to work with clear,   high resolution photos,   but that does not mean I won't take on poorer photos,   especially in cases where the subject is deceased and there are limited photos available.

Qualifications/Positions:

I am a full-time established artist and have been for 8 years. Prior to that I had a shipping business,   so I am as much a practical and experienced business person as I am an artist,   with a passion for service excellence and skill in communication.
