David Puck is a young British-American visual artist, working in traditional painting, makeup, digital, and public murals. Their work primarily explores LGBTQ+ experience and mental health through abstracted portraiture.
Their work has been featured by leading creative sites such as Juxtapoz, Hi-Fructose, Beautiful Bizarre & World of Wonder. They have worked with notable figures and organisations such as HBO (Euphoria & Generation), The Eurovision Song Contest, BBC Three (Eating with my Ex), ABC (Station 19), Bravo (Housewives of Beverly Hills), Hey Qween TV, Arts Council UK, Faith Evans, Mayim Bialik, Alaska Thunderfuck, Willam Belli, Naomi Smalls, The Boulet Brothers, Peppermint, Mayhem Miller, Laganja Estranja, Vinegar Strokes, Tammie Brown, Ongina, The Jonas Vloggers, Hank&Henry Beauty, Meatball, Artichoke Trust and LA Pride.
They’ve painted murals all over the world, including in Germany, Denmark, The UK, Holland, The Canary Islands, Spain, Nicaragua, Guatemala and USA. Notable mural projects include London Mural Festival, Wide Open Walls, Global Street Art, LA Pride & NYC World Pride. They have exhibited with leading galleries like Thinkspace LA.
Their visual podcast ‘Painterview’ live paints and interviews prominent and diverse figures, particularly in queer creative industry – guests have included Laganja Estranja (SYTYCD), Mayhem Miller (Drag Race), Vinegar Strokes (Drag Race UK), Chelseaboy (Drag Race Holland) and Joseph Shepherd (‘Exposed’). They graduated BA History, focusing in Queer History, from The University of Oxford UK. They are currently studying Mental Health Counselling & Psychotherapy.
