About
I am a Los Angeles-based artist who works primarily with aerosol and house paint. My black-and-white portraiture expresses complicated ideas and emotions of love, loss, and hope. Removing color adds a profound feeling to the work and forces the viewer to slow down and process the subject matter. It allows for natural colors found in urban cities to pop. I occasionally add color to my black-and-white work. My process includes photographing people I know/ meet and snippets of my surroundings. I have six years of experience doing murals with aerosol and house paint; however, most of this experience is attributed to commercial work. My canvas commission work includes primarily colored portraiture.
