About
Hi! I’m Donia, an Arab (Canadian born), emerging mixed media artist and illustrator. I am currently studying Illustration at OCAD University, and am planning to graduate in Spring of 2026. In my work, I primarily experiment with themes of dream vs. reality, nature vs. manmade, and the surrealities that result from both. I am extremely passionate about colour and shape as tools that can speak across time, culture, and place. My work is heavily influenced by my process- open to all traditional mediums, unconventional mixes, and all the mistakes along the way.
