I am a Visual Artist based in Canton, OH with over 20 years of experience specializing in pyro-chromatic arts, specifically painting with fire. Seeking Artist in Residency programs to further my professional development and contribute to communities. I sought a Graphic Design degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and a Fine Arts & Journalism degree from Kent State University. My work has been featured in various publications and exhibitions, including group mural competitions and an Art Award. With skills in pyrography, woodworking, beadwork, glass blowing, and leadership, I bring a diverse range of artistic abilities. I'm actively involved in the community as a visual artist, art instructor and art director. Notable projects include "We The People" - Art of Inclusion group, The Podium Project by the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and the Multilingual Hospitality Mural in Canton, Ohio. As a co-founder of the Massillon Community Arts Council and an active member of the Canton Symphony Orchestra, I have played a role in the inauguration of the Canton Arts District. With my unique artistic approach and dedication to community involvement, I am a valuable asset to any Artist in Residency program, project, or commission.
