Eastside Studio

I am a Tel Aviv-based journalist originally from Slovakia. I've worked as a reporter and a news producer in my home country and also for several years in London (for the Associated Press Television News). I've been living in Israel for more than 12 years now and have come to a solid understanding of the local and regional politics. Together with my extensive knowledge of broadcast media needs and requirements this puts me in a great position to assess stories coming from this part of the world and to manage local productions for foreign broadcasters and various media organizations. Apart from that, I am also a photographer with passion for portrait photography and a video-editor. During my time in Israel, I and my husband have founded a small, full-service video production company called Eastside Studio. We can guide you through all stages of work process, from creative concept to scripting, production planning, filming, editing, motion graphics and special effects. We produce a wide spectrum of movies, ranging from corporate, promotional and educational videos, documentaries and dramatized documentaries, video biographies, to news-related video content. We also assist foreign broadcasters and media organizations by providing experienced filming, audio recording and lighting crews, researching news stories, evaluating their relevance and content and offering detailed news plan from initial contact with filming subjects, to managing schedules and preparing a comprehensive shotlist before the shooting day. We also offer location scouting, arranging various film permits and providing local producers and researchers. Over the years, we've developed a rock-solid work ethics and a finely-tuned approach to storytelling in general. We've worked on a lot of sensitive stories that required deep understanding of current affairs and local politics as well as individual thoughtful approach, especially with trauma related stories or contentious stories that called for delicate handling. We love what we do and we just want to tell each story as it should be told, expressing its full potential and being true to its core.
