About
I am a visual artist who is drawn to the world's simple beauty and hidden colors. I am heavily inspired by nature and people, but also by the structures - both physical and mental - that we have built as a society. Some common themes found in my work are humans and the environment, motherhood, and personal identity. I work with a variety of media, my portfolio including works in gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, oil paint, ink, digital media, and watercolor.

I enjoy helping individuals and families depict the things that they love, adding personal touches. I especially love being able to depict nature.

Qualifications/Positions:

I am currently majoring in Studio Arts at MacEwan University. I ran a textile workshop during the month of March,   where participants came and created their own soft sculptures. I also have accepted multiple commissions over the past few years.

Awards/Grants:

1st,   2nd,   3rd place at Spruce Grove Allied Arts Council High School Art Competition,   2015. Awarded $600 and a spot at Red College Summer Art Camp.
1st place in International Student Art Competition "C'est mon Tours" at Tours University,   2018. Awarded 500 euros. Finished work is currently available as a postcard at the Tours Centre de Tourisme.

Exhibitions:

MacEwan University Student Exhibitions,   2023-2024.
"Elk Island" is currently on display at Summerside Children's Sport and Physiotherapy,   and is available for purchase.
