About
I am a fine artist based in Denver, Colorado. I have a diverse personal history, including living and traveling abroad, roaming about the US and meeting all sorts of people, and exploring different careers, both in an office and outside. Oil Painting and watercolors are my two mediums of choice, and greatest experience. I have trained in realistic style and techniques, giving me the ability to often recreate with solid technical skill. I have also studied and played with illustration, which lends itself to my ultimate goal of portraying a story or message in each image I create. All of this I can bring together onto canvas, paper or a mural. In my personal work, I am generally exploring archetypal images and metaphors, or whatever strange images may come into my mind, while bringing in art nouveau-type design elements, to emphasize the inherent beauty in ourselves, our world and our experiences. Altogether, the theme tying it all together is a desire and search for truth and understanding, and more than anything, living vibrantly and in the moment.
