This mural is located at the tech company Wish, San Francisco financial district headquarters. The Wish team came to me having seen previous murals of mine and wanting to incorporate my lettering style with their company name and logo, as well as a variety of San Francisco landmarks. I love San Franciso, the architecture, its history so I was more than happy to oblige. I worked closely with the design team at Wish to come up with a sketch and composition that touched on all of the elements they wanted to see on the wall, while also simplifying to depict what mattered most. I worked within their brand color palette, blending my style using entirely aerosol paint and dynamic color blocking. I painted this mural in a graffiti style using a thick outline, drop shadows, and highlights on the text. This was a blast to paint, completed in four days!
STATEMENT
I am a fine artist and muralist based in California. I love exaggerating color and finding palettes that mimic colors that make up our natural world. I am currently inspired to create surrealist landscapes including sunsets, mountains, skyscapes, and imaginary dimensions within the clouds. I often develop a deeper meaning connected to consciousness and spirituality.
