This interactive landing page was used as a way to promote and download my self published kids ebooks. It was made in illustrator and photoshop, animated in HTML5 and then uploaded to wordpress.
Meet the Artist
North Melbourne, AustraliaI am a passionate Melbourne based artist who specialises in illustration, oil painting, 2D animation and graphic design. Inspired by surrealist and expressionist painting I try pushing the boundaries between abstraction and realism to find a unique perspective. I also delight in the imperfections on a painting .i.e splatters, vibrant brush strokes that contribute to making the work exciting and unique.
Outside of painting I have illustrated kids books and used my drawing skills to create background art for the kids TV show Fanshaw and Crudnut. I have also hand drawn animated several short films one of which screened at the Melbourne international animation festival in 2009.
Professionally, I am trained as a Graphic designer and love condensing meaning into abstract shapes to create new logo designs that help make a business stand out. I also enjoy the technical side of design, building websites and creating motion graphics for social media and eLearning.
