My work is an artistic interpretation of what I see, feel and imagine along my various journeys in life. It is also a compilation of my visual experiences as a traveller. I reckon that art is a way of expressing one’s state of mind and that it need not always have meaning. I have previously drawn inspiration from painters like Van Gough, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso and Frida Kahlo, to name a few. But I also like to create my own techniques in my work using mixed media paints. I find it exciting to explore new material and create art out of it. While I use a variety of materials and painting processes across my projects, my methodology remains consistent. I have been painting on customised furniture for almost 2 years and I have painted various wall murals with my own customised design. At the same time I have painted various commissioned canvases for different interior projects. I also love painting on ceramic plates which make for excellent wall décor and instantly transform any dull space or a wall.
