Trader Joes Williamsburg

This mural was created for the top of the fresh grab and go cooler for the Williamsburg location of Trader Joe's. The store wanted to represent the avid bicycling community in the neighborhood, focusing on the nearby bike lane and including their Fearless Flyer mascot. I incorporated elements of the surrounding murals to create a seamless transition to adjacent art.

Meet the Artist

Sabin

Sabin has been working as a professional sign artist for 17 years. While not drawing comics, he works on a wide range of projects; from large scale murals to quick, small chalkboards. In addition to paint, he has branched into projections, 3D art and video work for events and live shows. From the Metropolitan Museum of Art Cloisters to Taco Trucks, his art has taken him around the New York area and occasionally into Canada and Europe. He values clear communication and efficiency, and can work with tight deadlines, and can work with a variety of budgets.
