Trader Joes Murray Hill
When the Murray Hill location of Trader Joe's needed to update their art, they wanted to go with a seventies theme. The challenge was making art in large, busy areas where customers were shopping. So this was painted on masonite and installed on the wall with some quick, light underpainting to give it more dimension. Now all they need is a mirror ball!
Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesSabin has been working as a professional sign artist for 17 years. While not drawing comics, he works on a wide range of projects; from large scale murals to quick, small chalkboards. In addition to paint, he has branched into projections, 3D art and video work for events and live shows. From the Metropolitan Museum of Art Cloisters to Taco Trucks, his art has taken him around the New York area and occasionally into Canada and Europe.
He values clear communication and efficiency, and can work with tight deadlines, and can work with a variety of budgets.
