Together we can grow 🌷 I’ve always struggled with the concept of reaching out for help, whether it was regarding business advice or mental health. In fact, it was actually a critique that tainted my childhood report cards. I wrestled with the belief that seeking assistance was a weakness. That admitting I lacked the knowledge, skills, experience / general “tools” to complete a task was ultimately admitting “defeat”. I was concerned I would be judged, ridiculed or pitied. I was scared to use my voice resulting in projects being incomplete or abandoned all together. I’m only now realizing what an asset speaking up is. People want to help you. Experience and knowledge are to be shared not hoarded. We are not competitors, we are a community and a tribe. When we work together, we all benefit.
