This artwork is more than a circle of black and gold. For me, it represents Wholeness and the most basic structure of life. Life is a circle of happiness and sadness, hard times and good times. My idea was to calm and support my peace within. It was a healing journey after a major life changing event. The circular, aesthetic patterns helped me align my inner world with the outside. It was particularly exciting and fulfilling to work on this as the entire journey inspired my mindfulness. While working on this piece, I was forced to think about how the Gold makes us glow and the White makes us Human. According to me, this is an artwork that welcomes everyone and is respectful enough to bring joy anywhere it is placed. Because of the overall aesthetics of this piece, I worked hard on making this very fine piece PERFECT. A little effort to bring something pretty for your beautiful Wall.
