?For this piece me and the client collaboratively decided that we wanted to tell a story with this mural. We put together three scenes that all had a re occurring theme of couples. It was requested that the mural also featured the yak as this is the name of the guest house and a peacock which was requested by the client. The scenes from the story are blasting out of the Yak who is firing them at a peacock who is wrapping around the other end of the piece and are sectioned off by an ageing tree. In the first scene we see a couple sailing away into the ocean. In the second we see a couple walking along the beach and in the third we see a man giving the universe to a girl in space. ??Painted in Chiang May, Thailand. The wall was approx. 2.74 meters x 103 meters. Painted using Emulsion and Spray paint.
Ever since I was a young boy I have always been an Artist however, now I have matured into a professional muralist, it is my mission to spend every day of my life painting murals on an ever expanding scale globally and continue to put smiles on people's faces using the gift I have been blessed with.??
Working for my own business, I have ten years of paid work experience with in creating exterior and interior murals with a primary focus on realism and portraits as well as work of all different styles and sizes. From the 105 degree tropical heat of South East Asia to the sub zero snowy winters of the UK, I have battled through murals all over Europe, America and Asia.
Full competence has been achieved with in all of the technicalities around preparing and executing large scale murals including paint mixing, setting up scaffolding, using a scissor lift, stencilling and burning, . This experience has also given me a strong grasp on how much hard work goes into producing murals of this kind which has only increased my craving for the feeling of achievement you get once you put in that final brush stroke.
As my education is in Graphic Design and Illustration, the majority of my commissioned murals and paintings have been designed by my self however, I am extremely confident in painting designs made by other people and I can paint to an extremely fast pace and high standard.
