Meet the Artist
Vancouver, CanadaI paint wall out of my heart and my free time because art has been passion of mine since I was a child
I have always loved large format painting. When I was younger, I used to paint at home on sheets, framed and hung. Later, when I moved to Montreal in 2012, I was amazed by this famous street art city.
I really started painting walls during my many trips to Mexico in 2016. Murals are really everywhere in Mexico, I was backpaking and painting in exchange of accomodation. And the following year, I started getting commissions to paint walls in Montreal. It was a dream come true.
I moved to British Columbia in 2022. Now I am vanlifing, going from place to place, still painting wall wherever I land.
Elise Rubin's art works, mainly made with vibrant and colorful latex paint and acrylic, bring positive vibes to passersby. The French artist, takes us to this ethereal world that teeters between the surreal and poetic, opening her audience’s mind to the oniric.
Her murals are inspired by nature, connection to self and others, universal love, and are known for their joyful, uplifting energy and peaceful vibrations.
