Sketchbook Journeys unfolds a world of pen and pencil artistry. Within the realm of Sketch Artists, these creations capture spontaneous moments and intricate details. Each piece is crafted in sketchbooks, revealing a personal narrative through simple yet profound lines. The use of pen or pencil invites viewers to explore the fluidity and precision of the medium. Dimensions and installation details are not applicable.
I possess a broad and well-developed understanding of art, built through years of hands-on experience across multiple disciplines and techniques. My practice is not limited to a single medium or approach; instead, it reflects deep technical knowledge, adaptability, and a strong command of both traditional and experimental processes. I am proficient in painting, drawing, illustration, sculpture, and design, and I continue to expand my skill set through constant exploration and practice.
Recently, I began working with linocut, engaging with the old school of graphic printmaking techniques. This process has strengthened my understanding of contrast, composition, and intentional mark-making, reinforcing my respect for traditional craftsmanship. Alongside this, I work freelance and paint on cotton using acid—a highly unpredictable and demanding medium. Despite the lack of full control inherent in working with acid, I demonstrate strong technical discipline, knowing how to saturate surfaces, manage contrast, manipulate lighting, and guide the outcome through experience and intuition. This ability to maintain control in uncertain conditions reflects both confidence and mastery.
My artistic background spans multiple styles, including realism, surrealism, and new school approaches. Although some earlier works on paper have been lost over time, the technical foundation and stylistic understanding gained from those periods continue to inform my current work. I have a strong grasp of anatomy, shading, lighting, texture, and composition, allowing me to adapt my skills across formats and concepts with consistency.
In addition to fine art and design, I have recently begun tattooing. While my experience in this field is still developing, my background in drawing, line work, contrast, and visual storytelling gives me a strong foundation. I am highly motivated to grow as a tattoo artist and to build a client base, bringing the same level of discipline, creativity, and technical awareness that defines my broader artistic practice.
Overall, my work reflects versatility, technical confidence, and a willingness to take creative risks. I am not limited by medium or style; instead, I approach art as a comprehensive craft, grounded in knowledge, experimentation, and continuous growth.
