Mind and Body as One

I created this drawing with chalk as a surreal interpretation of a samurai, shown with only half a body as a symbolic gesture. It was originally meant to be a comic cover page for a theme called “Macedonian Samurai.” While I was already working on it, I randomly came across a TikTok video about a samurai named Taro, and it stopped me in my tracks. The coincidence felt strange and inspiring — as if the idea had found its own echo while I was drawing.
