Sign Writing Mural - Mililani High School by GZ ART in Honolulu

This project is a sign writing mural created for Mililani High School as part of an interior school space. The work focuses on a hand-painted letter “M”, representing the school identity. The design is clean and structured, with sharp lines, balanced proportions, and a limited color palette to ensure clarity and readability within the space. Painted directly onto a concrete block wall, the mural required precise line work and even color coverage to maintain consistency across the surface. The approach was intentionally minimal — no decorative elements, no visual overload — allowing the letterform itself to stand as a strong, clear symbol of the school. This project reflects a straightforward sign writing process for educational environments: durable, legible, and visually disciplined, designed to support the space rather than dominate it.
