Immersive Interior Mural System for Barbershop | Miami,FL by GZ ART in Honolulu

This large-scale interior mural project was created for Homies Hub, a barbershop in Miami, as a complete visual system designed to shape the atmosphere, identity, and flow of the space. The project includes multiple walls, with one main feature mural acting as the primary visual focal point and additional murals activating surrounding and transitional areas. Together, they form a cohesive, immersive environment rather than separate standalone artworks. The imagery was based on concepts provided by the client’s designer. My role was to adapt the visuals to real architectural conditions — scaling the artwork to full wall dimensions, adjusting composition to corners, angles, and ceiling height, and translating the designs into impactful, hand-painted murals that feel cinematic and spatially integrated. The visual language draws from urban culture, cinematic storytelling, and bold color palettes inspired by Miami’s nightlife and street energy. Perspective, lighting, and depth were carefully considered to enhance immersion and guide the viewer through the space. As a unified system, the murals strengthen the barbershop’s brand presence, create a memorable client experience, and transform the interior into a distinctive, Instagram-ready destination. This project demonstrates how custom mural art can be used strategically to define character, atmosphere, and identity within commercial interiors.
