Room Mates at the Bar. Sketch. 2021
This is a sketch that I did when I was playing around with ideas for stories and sequences for comedic purposes. It focuses on a young man at a nightclub celebrating with his best friend, who appears to be a skeleton, and the bartender, who is a zombie, as the rest of the people at the club are staring in disbelief at what is going on. I developed this picture using coloured pencil and black pen for the character outlines.
Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomNicholas is a former graduate of Central Saint Martin's, London. As well as holding the prestigious MA award, he also holds a BA in Fine Art from Wimbledon College of Art.
Nicholas could draw before he could speak, and has always had a pen in his hand.
His two year Master's programme had given him a foundation of experience and practice in story-telling, character design, 2D animation, process and technology platforms - thus providing him with an opportunity to turn his years of creating comic books, screenplays and characters into reality and into a professional career.
Nicholas has a unique style where he brings his mastery of Fine Art into his animated world.
