Radio Tintin by Art4Brains in Qingdao

Radio Tintin

This acrylic painting marks a departure from my usual style, leaning more toward pop art. Titled Radio Tintin, the piece was inspired by the characters I grew up with—most notably Tintin and his faithful dog Milou. While Hergé created Tintin, I was also deeply influenced by the storytelling found in works by Goscinny and Uderzo (Asterix). This painting serves as a bridge between nostalgic memories and artistic exploration, connecting past inspiration with present expression. In the artwork, Tintin and Milou are depicted reaching out, and the concept features an X-ray-like effect—where parts of their bodies appear transparent, revealing bones beneath the surface. It’s both playful and introspective, blending childhood icons with a reinterpretation of form and depth.
