This is a portrait of Olivia in oils on canvas. Starting as a block in sketch , next was the underpainting stage, and lastly a refinement stage with careful paint application to bring the portrait to life. All while always focusing on the drawing and proportions to achieve a likeness of my sitter. The play between warm and cool bring focus and attention to the peice.
