Port Elliot Festival- Frogs by Ryan Loughnane in Sydney
Port Elliot Festival- Frogs
This mural was for a UK based festival in Port Eliot which I assisted with.
Designed by Any Surface, these bright frogs are a play on the eye, creating a trippy moving image.
We used MTN 94 spray paint as the main medium.
The mural was on a wall as a music festival on wooden panels.
Meet the Artist
Sydney, AustraliaFrom a young age, I have been deeply passionate about art, particularly captivated by the vibrant New York graffiti scene. Growing up near London, I immersed myself in graffiti, developing a unique typography style, inspired by the street artists I admired.
Over the years, my friends and I formed our own crew, gaining international recognition and winning the Write for Gold competition while touring Europe. My journey continued at art college, where I expanded my skills and explored various mediums and styles, including portraiture, landscapes, and characters.
Alongside my automotive repair career, I grew my mural business, becoming increasingly skilled with spray guns and other artistic tools. My work has taken me around the globe, including a recent project where I hand-painted a 1km mural in Abu Dhabi.
I am currently the contracted artist for multiple projects with the Freemasons charity (RMBI) in the UK, having completed over seven murals with many more planned. Locally, my projects range from private commissions to commercial pieces, including a notable recent work—the Big Trout in Adaminaby, one of Australia’s Big Things.
I take great pleasure in collaborating with clients, understanding their vision, assisting with design, and bringing their ideas to life.
