The idea behind this illustration is to be part of a children's picture book about a young witch named Lucy and her grumpy cat, Skittles. Lucy is a hard-working witch who always wants to learn and experiment with new spells, but the only problem is that she sometimes makes Skittles her practice partner against his will. Thus, he ends up being the guinea pig in most experiments, but on the bright side, he gets to experience fun adventures when the spells don't go as expected.
