This is a cover concept for a psychological novel about a young widow living in Venice in the early 1800s, slowly drowning in her despair. Throughout the book, she waits for her husband, who has been sent out to sea. When he left they departed at a lamp post, where she goes and remembers their happy time together. But the more we unravel the story the more the line between memories and delusions starts to blur, leaving the main character and the reader to wonder what is real.
