Meet the Artist
London, United KingdomPERSONAL INFO: I am 20 and an undergraduate student studying BA Art & Philosophy. I've had an appreciation for the arts from a young age and have had the privilege to study, experiment, and perfect my art-making. I'm currently very interested in the ideas of living aesthetically to justify our existence (reference to Friedrich Nietzsche), expressing political/general problems with the external world, and exploring myself intrinsically! Though these are my current areas of focus, I have a VERY wide range of what I find interesting, so don't be afraid to spark up a conversation with me about a piece you're interested in coming to life!
MATERIAL INFO: My strongest medium is oil paint by far, however, I've also got experience with acrylics and watercolours! I have experience in building my own canvases and painting on stretched canvas as well as unstretched canvas! Of course, I've used my fair share of paper suited to different paints too e.g. oil paint paper, watercolour paper. I'm more than happy to paint on anything!
In terms of sketches, black liners and oil pastels are my strongest as well as biro pens. Though, I'm happy to work in pencil/coloured pencil too or any other material suggestions you may have!
OTHER INFO: Although the work presented is mostly personal style, I'm not afraid of realism, so if this is more what you're looking for please let me know. Additionally, I'm happy to go off of ideas only, but photo references are much preferred!
