KId Koala “The Beat Juggle by Mr Monkey in Brough

I am a Brough based artist who works across most mediums from rattle cans to pens and brushes to software. I’ve painted and drawn all my life, it’s the only thing I’m any good at. I’ve built a name up for myself over the past 12 years or so as MONKEY and I still sign all my work as such now. I’m part of a Birmingham collective called DMC (Distorted Minds Crew) and participate in an exhibition with my cohorts at Centrala to rave reviews a few years back. I’ve done numerous commission pieces for various types of clients over the years and can turn my hand to just about anything really. I do a lot with rattle cans, it’s my favourite way to work. I can paint with brushes on canvas and I’m a dab hand with pens and pencils. I do quite a bit of work for a printer “Cherry Press” illustrations and the like for all number of briefs, I’ve worked with him now for 5 years or more
