Before we moved to Brough, near Hull end of last year. I lived in Scunthorpe. I built a huge rendered wall at the bottom of the garden to practice aerosol art on. During lock down after doing several days of glossing, i spent a few days down there. This image represents a huge step forward in my learning cover. The image in the middle, is a Jason Brashill paint that he did for a record cover, I’ve obsessed over it for as long as I can remember. To finally paint was a really big deal for me. The owner of the record label that record was released on saw and loved, even Jason Brashill himself, through his wife’s IG told me he loved it!!! crazy to think that through the power of social media I could to reach out to those people and speak to them!! I was completely star struck, we are talking some of my biggest idols.
