I learned painting in autodidact way. I began to explore the artistic side of my life while learning portrait drawing during my high school years. As I entered the university, I continued making some paintings, all of which then were for personal leisure purpose and occasional requests from family members. Only a few years ago, while working as Treasury Analyst in one multinational company in Singapore, I picked up and took acrylic painting more seriously by attending such painting classes regularly. For the love of the arts, I have been volunteering as the chairperson of my company’s Arts and Crafts special interest group. Since last year, I have arranged a pandemic-related charity and managed to sell three of my paintings. In my short journey in the world of art, I have come to realize that painting, both its process and product, is not only therapeutic individually, but also transformative communally and socially, in big or small ways. In year 2021, I' won Silver Award for my painting "Me and My Imaginary World" from the Asian Art Association in World Charity Painting Competition.
