Meet the Artist
Seattle, United StatesLoretto is a Seattle-based artist whose work explores the emotional and psychological depth of the human face. Blending traditional portraiture with expressive, abstract, techniques, her charcoal and watercolor paintings capture fleeting expressions, inner tension, and quiet resilience. A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, White began her career as a graphic designer working with architectural firms before returning to her first love, fine art. Her recent body of work pairs luminous washes with intuitive mark-making, offering portraits that feel both intimate and mysterious. She regularly travels to the Boston and Rhode Island area, where her East Coast roots continue to shape her perspective and palette.
