Grandma and Me by Amelia Rowe in England

This is the final page of the book I am in the process of writing and illustrating the story is about a girl who is just doing everyday things at home , pottering around the garden and baking an apple pie for her Grandma . This piece is dedicated to my Grandma who Is such an amazing person and I am so grateful for her and our relationship, the shading of colour around them and the warm glow that's in the middle replicates the feelings of warmth and safeness I had when my Gran would cuddle me :) I first illustrated with Fine line pen (unipin) 0.03mm then added colouring pencil , I drew this at the start of this year and that's when I really got into the shading and layer of colour and texture using pencils .
