Goofy skull by Maya in Chicago

This may be considered more of a doodle than sketch, but looking at it makes me smile so I wanted share. I like thin lines because I think they’re elegant, but I do love to use thick lines, in fact I think they’re my default. I love how funky and bold it can make a drawing look, especially when you play around with varying line weights! The boarder lining the skull does stay consistent and that is on purpose. It plays with the eye more and gives the drawing a little more funk!
