A protest piece made from a real life incident. Police force shooting the protesters in the eyes by shotguns. I was inspired by this lady who lost her eye, like many other protesters.
I was born in Iran - land of art & culture. I started painting since the age of 10 under the guidance of a lovely art teacher, Firouzeh, in Tehran. For many years I continued practicing art on and
off as a hobby; something I could never totally get detached from. During the four years studying for my BA in English literature, I also joined advanced painting
classes under an experienced art master to fill in my spare time. During those days, I learnt the fundamentals of professional oil painting. My master was specially gifted and made me aware of my potentials too.
