A mixed media piece using acrylic paint and oil pastels. I had fun with this one, I wanted to see how I could create rough looking piece while having a focal point of something so delicate. Similarly to other paintings of mine, I have used oil pastels to keep an illustrative look. The oil pastels offer a different texture to somewhat smooth acrylic paint.

While she is primarily a digital illustrator, creating sketchy, fun artworks, Char also loves delving into more expressive analogue artwork, particularly mixing paint, oil pastel, and pen. Her art draws inspiration from her own emotions and the intriguing elements in her environment. Her pieces often have a melancholic and grungy feel, yet she presents them in a joyful manner.
As a skilled screenprinter. She enjoys the process of printing her own work, embracing the unique imperfections of the medium. Her love for experimental hand printing adds authenticity to her artistic practice, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
