The Real End by Charlotte Basire in Melbourne

The Real End

This is an old favourite of mine. Here, I used Indian ink to create a comic book scene of wile-e-coyote and roadrunner, yet this time it was the real end of the story. I wanted the look of the piece to be almost horror - like, making sure to add dirty looking landscape. I also wanted the comic to look old, as if it had been found after a long while. I did my own twist on the characters, making their insides visible and thus adding to the horror, melancholy effect that I was creating.
