Hello, my name is Kate and I am a mural artist based in Cumbria. I have a degree in Fine Art and I have taught art at high school level for 15+ years. I am now freelance and love the freedom this allows me. My inspiration for my artwork comes from many places, but I’m influenced mainly by the shapes and patterns found within the natural world around me. I love to scale up and simplify when I’m designing. Colour is also very important to me and I’m always on the lookout for new and exciting colour schemes to work with.
