EYE HEART NEW YORK by wven in New York
EYE HEART NEW YORK
An original design created as an homage to Milton Glaser's iconic I love NY design. My inspiration came from always being a big fan of wood cuts and clip art illustrations. This is literally a combination of several of my favorite elements, eyes, hearts, crowns and typography. The design was painted on the wall of a garage space that doubled as a woodshop and studio. Later on it was made into various style shirts and stickers.
Meet the Artist
New York, United StatesHi, here's a little scoop on what I do. As a preteen I fell in love with the walls in my neighborhood covered in aerosol art murals and tags. Through the years that grew into the long time passion of mine typography, hand-lettering and sign painting. For a good part of my career I have spent working as an art director and graphic designer.
I thoroughly enjoy the process of the things I create whether it be a commercial, video, mural, logo, sculpture or otherwise. A great idea with the proper execution is king. And I live for those moments when it all comes together. The interdisciplinary practice of mixing all my skills is my life blood. I love it all. So when working directly with clients I thrive on collaboration to make the best decisions creating a harmony within art and design.
