El Paisaje Postre

This was created for the Clark County gallery, Living in the Dessert. It is an acrylic painting depicting a desert landscape with sweets everywhere. A mountain lion looks toward the viewer while another is eating a pie in the background. The rocks are ice cream and whipped cream, river is grape soda, and cactus are cinnamon rolls with sprinkles. It brings the brightness and decadence of dessert into the desert I live in.

I am a Las Vegas based artist who graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, majoring in Visual Arts. The main subjects of my work are animals but I am open to painting anything! I love to paint and my favorite media are acrylic and gouache. Due to my schooling, I have experience in many different media and a variety of styles, I am always up for experimentation.
